GameSamba has start the soft launch phase for the mobile game adaptation of the popular manga and anime series Tokyo Ghoul. Tokyo Ghoul: Dark War is currently available in Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland on Google Play. More regions and an iOS release are “coming soon” but no official release date has been announced. The game offers more than 50 characters to collect, upgrade, and take into battle. As with most hero collection games, Tokyo Ghoul: Dark War features an optional auto mode, a selection of both single play and multiplayer modes, including both co-op and PVP.
The Tokyo Ghoul franchise began with the manga which was first published in Japan in 2011. It takes place in an alternate version of Tokyo where ghouls that consume human flesh live in secret among humans. Since the start of the original manga, Tokyo Ghoul has been adapted into an anime series, and a sequel manga titled Tokyo Ghoul:RE began its run.
