Gamevil is keeping busy these days. The Korean publisher and sometimes developer currently has three different games with open pre-registration, a number of titles in the works (including the recently announced Project CARS GO), and now the company has started a closed beta test for Talion, a new MMORPG.
Developed by Shadowblood developer UTPlus, Talion promises a deep customization system that lets players adjust their character’s faces and proportions to suit their desires before they take them into the game. Despite the ability to choose a variety of hairstyles, makeup applications, arm length and minute details like eyebrow thickness, the game’s three classes (warrior, assassin, mage) are gender locked.
Once they create their characters players can journey into the game’s open world and team up with other users to take on the game’s quests and monsters. Like many mobile RPGs, Tailon has an auto combat system.
As far as competitive options go, Talion promises three core modes: a 5 vs 5 capture the flag mode, a larger 20 vs 20 conquest mode, and massive 50 vs 50 boss raids where two sides compete to take down monsters.
As with other Gamevil beta tests, players should know that progress made during the beta test will be reset prior to the game’s official launch. As part of the beta test, there are a number of ongoing events that reward players with premium currency. The closed beta is set to run until 8:00 AM (PST) on June 5th, 2018.
