“Sword Art Online: Integral Factor” Will Receive Global Release

Sword Art Online Integral Factor

Bandai Namco has opened up pre-registration for another upcoming game based on a popular manga & anime series. Sword Art Online: Integral Factor (SAOIF) is the second mobile game based on the SAO franchise to get a global release following in the footsteps of gacha game Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag. Integral Factor is an online action RPG that puts players in the footsteps of a new character in the SAO universe.

Players will take the role of one of the gamers trapped in the world of the virtual MMORPG Sword Art Online in the year 2022. The newly created character will run into and interact with recognizable characters from the manga & anime along their journey. SAOIF features a variety of weapons that players can equip to suit their playstyle. As boss battles were a major part of Sword Art Online, SAOIF will pit players against a variety of bosses.

While Memory Defrag is one of the best gacha games on Android, Integral Factor has not enjoyed the same level of positive feedback thus far. The Japanese version of the game currently has a 3.1 rating on Google Play, and even considering that ratings tend to be a bit more harsh when it comes to games exclusive to Japan, 3.1 is extremely low. Gamers hoping to enjoy another SAO game can take solace in the fact that the game’s low rating in Japan is low at least in part due to technical issues and a ban on IP address located outside of Japan. The former issue can be resolved with patches before the game’s global launch, and the latter won’t be an issue for the global version.

Bandai Namco will be offering all users the following bonuses when the game launches:

  • Arcana Gems x 2500
  • In-game Stickers x 2
  • Skill Record ★4 Asuna
  • Eastern Avatar
  • Western Avatar

Sword Art Online: Integral Factor is the latest in a long series of Bandai Namco mobile games based on anime & manga series. Most recently, Bandai Namco release Naruto x Boruto Ninja Voltage, and they have opened up pre-registration for One Piece Bounty Rush. Along with their licensed franchises, Bandai Namco is also in the midst of rolling out a mobile game based on the Tekken fighting game franchise. The final regions to get the game will include the United States, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and Hong Kong on March 1st.

Sword Art Online: Integral Factor will be free and it will contain in app purchases when released. There is currently no scheduled release date. Here is the game’s English trailer with more information:
