Disney has opened up pre-registration for the latest mobile game in the Star Wars universe. Star Wars: Rivals is a cover-based third person shooter starring characters found throughout the Star Wars movie franchise.
Star Wars: Rivals is a PVP title with a similar arena structure as games like Clash Royale. Players pick a team of three different characters from their arsenal and take on an opponent who does the same. While only one hero is character can be active at any given time, players can rotate through their selection of heroes to take advantage of any opportunities that may come up. Each hero also has his or her own special ability that can help them gain an advantage over their opponent.
Star Wars: Rivals is already available in select regions as an unreleased / early access app. The current countries that the game is available in include many of the common soft launch locations like Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the Philippines, as well as other countries including Mexico and Brazil.
