After a lengthy soft launch campaign, Webzen’s new golf game is ready for its global launch. Shot Online Golf: World Championship (sometimes referred to as SHOTONLINE GOLF), is now available in the United States, Europe, and just about everywhere else.
Shot Online Golf promises mobile gamers a more realistic golfing experience on the go. The game’s biggest focus is real time head to head matches that players can bet their virtual currency on. Players can also complete missions, upgrade their gear, and take part in events. Like many other mobile golf games, Shot Online Golf has upgradeable stats so head to head matches may not always be played on an even playing field.
Webzen is a South Korean developer & publisher that is best known for the PC MMORPG MU Online. The company has also released its mobile counterpart MU Origin, which has thus far accumulated over 1 million downloads on Google Play. Branching out beyond the RPG genre, Webzen more recently released Pooltime, a mobile billiards game with a heavy focus on accurate physics. It has also soft launched First Hero, a hero collection strategy game.
