Wish Interactive, the company behind the upcoming WizardLord, has added English support to their romance themed RPG Royal Chaos.
The game puts players in the shoes of a young woman looking for love in an ancient Chinese dynasty setting. Players can customize their persona, pursue love interests, and battle other players. The game promises users the ability to have an impact on their character’s path in life by making choices regarding how they approach other characters and how they act in different situations.
Royal Chaos originally launched in China in 2017 and was made available to the rest of the world earlier this year. Users who downloaded the game prior to today were often surprised to discover that the game was not available in English despite its availability on Google Play. This led to a lot of the game’s negative user reviews.
Royal Chaos is one of a number of games that is specifically target female gamers. Though such games rarely get a lot of attention from most users or publications, games targeting women have often found success on mobile. That includes otome games (interactive narrative games that typically involve romance as a core plot point), casual games like Covet Fashion, and even the idol game Utano☆Princesama: Shining Live.
Royal Chaos is free and contains ads and in app purchases.
