Radiation City is the follow up to Radiation Island

Radiation City

Radiation Island dropped players on an island filled with various enemies (and radiation) and tasked them with surviving what the island had to offer. Now Atypical Games has launched the beta version of their follow up to Radiation Island, Radiation City. The new game puts players in Pripyat 40 years after the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant disaster. The goal? To save your loved one. The challenge? Everything is trying to kill you (and radiation). This first person game will put your survival skills to the test.

Players will need to scavenge resources from their environment and use whatever resources they find to explore the dangerous world they find themselves in. They will need to repair cars to use for transportation and storage, make use of campsites for safety at night, and explore some of Pripyat’s landmarks. As players explore the world of Radiation City they will encounter zombie like creatures, dangerous phenomenon, and radiation.

Radiation City is now in beta, and available on Google Play at the discounted price of $0.99, 80% off its regular price of $4.99. $4.99 is also the current price on iOS. Here is an excerpt from the game’s description on Google Play as well as an official trailer:

It’s a huge open world area filled with dangers and anomalies. Hungry predators and sub-human creatures, they all want a piece of you. The elements, combined with radiation and unexplained phenomenon, make the lovely looking environment a place where you shouldn’t be. Yet, here you are.
