Ryu, Chun-Li, Akuma and More Join Power Rangers: Legacy Wars

Power Rangers: Legacy Wars x Street Fighter

nWay and Capcom have teamed up for a crossover event between Street Fighter and Saban’s Power Rangers: Legacy Wars. Players in Legacy Wars will be able to collect a number of Street Fighter’s signature fighters and pit them against the Power Rangers.

During the event players will be able to collect the following fighters:

  • Ryu
  • Akuma
  • Chun-Li
  • Guile
  • M. Bison
  • Cammy

Each of these characters will bring a number of their signature moves and they can be purchased directly or acquired through Morph Boxes and by collecting character shards. Ryu, Akuma, Chun-Li, and Guile will be available starting today, while Cammy will be available on June 1st and M. Bison on June 15th.

Legacy Wars is a mobile fighting game that, like many other mobile fighting games, features controls that have been simplified for touchscreens. Gone are the freedom and skill based gameplay that fighting game fans tend to value. In their place are a card based fighting system and the ability to power up fighters.

This collaboration will give Street Fighter fans yet another place to see their favorite characters now that Capcom’s Puzzle Fighter is set to be shut down.

Power Rangers: Legacy Wars is free and contains in app purchases. Here is an excerpt from the game’s description and a trailer with a look at the new Street Fighter crossover.
