Fresh off the heals of the release of Digimon Links, Bandai Namco has opened up pre-registration for their next Anime / Manga based game, Naruto x Boruto Ninja Voltage. In Ninja Voltage players can attack fortresses using some of the characters from Naruto Shippuden and Boruto: Naruto Next Generation in order to steal resources. To master enemy fortresses players will need to overcome traps and defeat enemy ninjas. Of course players will also need to defend their own fortresses from enemy attackers. That means setting up their own traps and ninjas.
To anyone who might be worried about Naruto x Boruto Ninja Voltage being a generic strategy game or a Clash of Clans clone need not worry. In the game’s single player mode players will control one character, and the AI will control 3 others as they attempt to sack enemy fortresses. Ninja Voltage plays a lot more like an action game when attacking fortresses. There is also a multiplayer mode where each player controls one of four characters.
Naruto x Boruto Ninja Voltage does not have a release date at this time. It will be free and offer in app purchases. Pre-registration is open on Google Play, Bandai Namco is holding a pre-registration event on the game’s official Facebook page with rewards for sharing content.
