Developer ustwo Games has announced that the Android version of the long-awaited indie puzzle game Monument Valley 2 will arrive on November 6th, 2017. Players take the role of Ro as she teaches her daughter about the architectural mysteries of the game’s world. In practice that involves helping Ro complete the game’s visually rich levels by flipping switches, rotating platforms, and more.
The original Monument Valley was released in 2014 to a lot of fanfare and numerous awards including a British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Game Award for Mobile & Handheld, and an Apple Design Award. Monument Valley also famously made an appearance on Neflix’s hit show House of Cards. Monument Valley 2 is a stand alone game which does not require players to have played the original to fully enjoy the game. Monument Valley 2 was originally released on iOS in June, and is priced at $4.99. Players can pre-register for the game now to get a notification when it launches.
