Marvel Strike Force Pre-Registration Now Open

There’s another Marvel game on the horizon. Developer FoxNext is planning on releasing Marvel Strike Force in 2018, and they’ve opened up pre-registration on the game’s official website. The game appears to be a hero collection game, with characters hailing from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including characters from Netflix’s Marvel shows. It is set to feature both heroes and villains from a variety of Marvel franchises. The game will offer 5 different single player campaigns, 4 of which require a certain level or a number of characters in a particular category to unlock.

Based on the available information, it appears that Marvel Strike Force will feature a lot of what gamers expect from mobile games (particularly gacha titles), including:

  • Hero collection
  • Powering up and leveling up using gear and hero shards
  • A stamina / energy system
  • An arena mode
  • Daily events/tasks
  • Autoplay
  • Alliances (effectively guilds)
  • Raids (alliance missions)

Pre-registration is available on the official website for Marvel Strike Force. Players who pre-register will receive a 3-star Daredevil character, 500 power cores and 50,000 gold. Power cores are the game’s premium currency, and gold the basic currency.

Marvel Strike Force will be free and offer in app purchases. The game is scheduled to be released in 2018, and there is no firm release date at this time. Do not be surprised if the game sees a soft launch prior to its global release. Here is the game’s first trailer:
