Netmarble’s popular action RPG MARVEL Future Fight will soon see a new batch of collectible superheroes as part of the game’s new X-Force update.
The update, which is set to launch on August 8th, will add five new characters for players to collect:
Cable and Colossus, already part of Future Fight, will now have X-Force uniforms.
The upcoming update will also add a Deadpool and X-Force themed new questline for players to complete. Players who start the new questline will receive a playable Deadpool and progressing through the X-Force story will let players upgrade their newly acquired character.
Along with the new characters, uniforms, and quest, players will be able to participate in various events celebrating the new update.
Despite being released more than three years ago, MARVEL Future Fight is still one of Netmarble’s biggest games and is currently one of the South Korean publisher’s top three grossing games on Google Play in most markets. Joining it are MMORPG Lineage 2: Revolution and the relatively new hero collection RPG Knights Chronicles.
MARVEL mobile games tend to be be among the most popular mobile titles around, with three titles currently residing among the top 100 grossing games on Google Play in the United States. They regularly receive updates as new movies are launched, adding new characters, events, and renewing fan interest. Though popular, they sometimes receive criticism for being too focused on character collection and in app purchases.
