Kakao Games is bringing a popular dice RPG to the North America and Oceania, and they have opened up pre-registration. Lord of Dice, developed by NGEL Games, is a hero collection RPG with dice rolling as a core gameplay element. Players can collect, power up, and evolve more than 200 heroes (Dicers) and select a team to take into battle. As with most games that are heavy on hero collection, Lord of Dice features the option to use auto mode and various methods of improving and evolving heroes. As far as modes go, Lord of Dice promises a guild adventure mode, real time PVP, a tower to climb, co-op boss raids and more. In Lord of Dice battles take place on a grid that is filled with traps and other objects.
Lord of Dice will be free and contain in app purchases. It is scheduled to be released in North America and Oceania in January 2018. There is no word on a European release at this time. Here is an excerpt from the game’s description and a trailer with more information:
Lord of Dice uses a stunning hand-drawn visuals and a compelling story inspired by Japanese anime to immerse players in a rich fantasy world.
