Nitrome’s Puzzle Game In The Dog House Sneaks Onto Google Play

In the past few months Nitrome has launched a number of new games including the mini golf game Nano Golf, mostly monochromatic platformer Colorblind, and the sharp vertical platformer Spike City. Now the UK based company has launched In the Dog House, a new mobile puzzle game on Android and iOS.

Though new to mobile, In the Dog House is not truly a new release. The puzzle game made its debut several years ago as a flash game played in web browsers around the world.

The game tasks players with guiding a dog from spot to the next by cleverly sliding and rotating the home’s rooms and then tempting the dog with a toy or newspaper.

There are 50+ puzzles to solve, though each level is fairly short. Beyond just the puzzles, In The Dog House has multiple dog breeds to unlock, and different dog toys to collect.

As a 72 hour launch promotion, In the Dog House is temporarily on sale for $2.49, down from its regular price of $3.99. It does not contain any ads or in app purchases. Here is a trailer with a look at the game:
