MythicOwl’s new puzzle game is now available on Android, iOS and Steam. Hexologic is a logic puzzle game that is built around a simple tile numbering mechanic that gradually becomes more complex as players advance.
The game features 60+ different levels spread across the game’s 4 game worlds, each with their own theme and gameplay mechanics. Like other Tents and Trees, Hexologic is designed to be a relaxing experience, without any timers or scores to worry about while playing the game. Those looking for something a little less laid back can try out the game’s time challenge levels.
While the game is available on Android and iOS for $0.99 and on Steam for $2.99. While the mobile versions are cheaper, the Steam release also contains a level editor and is 30% off as a launch promotion.
Hexologic is $0.99 and does not contain any ads or in app purchases. Here is an excerpt from the game’s description and a trailer with a look at the game:
Hexologic is very easy to learn and in the same time a highly addictive language-independent logic puzzle game. Based on hexagonal grids, the game reinvents sudoku rules and brings it to a whole new level. Combining the dots inside the hexes in three possible directions, so that their sum matches the one given at the edge, will be a rewarding experience for both puzzle games’ veterans and newcomers.
