Third Person Shooter “Hero Hunters” is Coming Next Year

Hero Hunters

Hero Hunters is the latest shooter from Hothead Games, the studio behind the Kill Shot series, and most recently Mighty Battles. It’s a squad based, third person, cover shooter. Players pick their team of heroes and take on whatever the game throws at them. Hero Hunters features a variety of characters to collect and level up, including long range snipers, balanced assault rifle users, shotgun users that can soak up damage, and more. Players can switch between their heroes on the fly to take advantage of any opportunities that can come up. As you might have guessed, you will need to collect heroes in order to build a well powerful and well rounded team if you hope to succeed. The game will launch with 40 heroes that can be acquired through a variety of in game activities, or through chests purchased with premium currency.

Hero Hunters will offer a variety of modes including a single player campaign mode where players have to take on waves of enemies as they work their way towards freeing the city from General Kutz. The game will also feature a real-time PVP mode, co-op boss raids, alliances (guilds), and a variety of events to play through. Players can pre-register for the cover based shooter now on the game’s official website. Hothead Games is offering those who pre-register 150 gold (the game’s premium currency) and the poison crossbow wielding “Cross” hero.

Hero Hunters is currently in early-access and available in selection regions. The game will be free and contain in app purchases and optional ads. It is scheduled for release in early 2018. Here is a trailer with more information:
