From the Australian studio Mountains and publisher Annapurna Interactive comes Florence, an interactive narrative experience with some puzzle elements.
Like many of the unique titles found on mobile, Florence is more of an experience that lets players follow along as Florence experiences her first love. As with games like Bury me, my Love and Keep in Mind: Remastered, this is a game that focuses on its narrative.
Mountains is a small Melbourne, Australia based studio founded in 2016 by Ken Wong, the designer of Monument Valley. This is the studio’s first release.
Annapurna Interactive is a California based publisher that has released games like the critically acclaimed adventure game What Remains of Edith Finch, artistic puzzle game Gorogoa, and the iOS release of Flower. This is the company’s first release on Android.
Florence is $2.99 and does not contain any ads or in app purchases. Here is an excerpt from the game’s description and a trailer with more information:
At 25, Florence Yeoh feels a little stuck. Her life is an endless routine of work, sleep, and spending too much time on social media. Then one day, she meets a cello player named Krish who changes everything about how she sees the world.
