Dragon Ball Legends Now Available in Most of Europe

Dragon Ball Legends

Bandai Namco Entertainment’s highly anticipated Dragon Ball card fighting game has expanded its launch territories. Dragon Ball Legends is now available in most of Europe, giving even more gamers a chance to experience the game.

Dragon Ball Legends is currently available in the following regions:

  • Europe (excluding Russia, Ukraine, certain other countries)
  • United States
  • Canada
  • Thailand

Next on Bandai Namco’s schedule is a release in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Players in parts of the world that do not have access to the game can take comfort in the fact that the release rollout has been quite fast by most soft launch standards. This is also one of the few games that Bandai Namco has chosen to debut in a country other than Japan.

Unveiled earlier this year, Dragon Ball Legends is a PVP focused fighting game that lets players pit some of the iconic characters from the storied Dragon Ball franchise against each other, all in the palm of their hands. The game tasks users with building their team of fighters and battling head to head against opponents anywhere in the world with the game’s real-time online multiplayer mode. Though players pick teams, the battles themselves are 1 vs 1. To keep things approachable, the game has simple controls that let players pull off combos without a lot of complicated inputs.

Beyond its multiplayer mode, Dragon Ball Legends will also have a brand new Dragon Ball story with several original characters created just for the game.

Bandai Namco is also running a pre-registration campaign for the game that has already surpassed 3 million registrations, an all time high for Bandai Namco titles.

In the past 6 months Bandai Namco has launched a number of new titles based on famous anime, manga, or light novel series. That includes the launch of One Piece Bounty Rush, Naruto X Boruto Ninja Storm, and most recently Sword Art Online Integral Factor. Everything has not been rosy for the company, as they have announced the shut downs of Tales of Links and Tales of the Rays, and have decided to pull One Piece Bounty Rush from app stores shortly after launch to fix some of the game’s significant issues.
