Digimon Links has begun its soft launch roll-out. As with many games just starting their soft launch, Digimon Links is available in Australia. There is no official time frame for more territories being added to the soft launch or for a global launch. Pre-registration through Google Play is still open for anyone interested in the game, linked at the bottom of this post. Update: Just a day after the soft launch began, Bandai Namco has expanded to more countries. Just a note to anyone who wants to jump into the action, the game will need a little over 800mb in storage space.
Digimon Links features turn-based combat between two teams of 3 Digimon. Players can build their favorite team, or participate in co-op battles by taking their favorite Digimon and teaming up with two other players. Outside of combat players have access to their own personal “farm”, which acts as each player’s home village.
Some clarification on the game’s name: Digimon Links is the styling used by publisher Namco Bandai for the English or international version of the game. DigimonLinks (no space) is the name the game is listed under on Google Play). Digimon Linkz is the styling used by the Japanese version of the game.
