Crescent Moon Games, the publisher behind the Android versions of Morphite and Axe.io, has just launched sci-fi action platformer Deep Space.
Developed by BUG-Studio, Deep Space puts players in the boots of a member of DeTeam tasked with the security of a space station / research facility. After a viral outbreak infects everyone at the facility, players will need to go from one area to the next securing the station. That means shooting everything that moves and living to tell the tale.
In practice, Deep Space is a run and gun platformer with retro graphics and procedurally generated environments. The game’s world is filled with enemies mainly comprised of slug-like creatures and numerous types of infected humans. Beyond just enemies, players will need to watch out for turrets and other environmental hazards. The game gives players access to multiple weapons which can be upgraded using coins found as players progress in the game.
