Dead Rain: New Zombie Virus Out Now
Korean developer Tiny Devbox has released a new 2D zombie killing action game, Dead Rain: New Zombie Virus on Android. The world of Dead Rain is in a bad shape, with endless rain, trees that won’t stop growing, and a virus that turns people into zombies. Gamers have to go through a variety of zombie filled levels as they search for their missing daughter.
What that translates into is going from one level to the next killing hordes of zombies with all of the tools that are at your disposal, and some light platforming. Players need to shoot, run, jump and smash their way past the undead to get to their goal. This is (at least) the third zombie game released Android and iOS in the past week, following the lighthearted Dragon Hills 2, and the zombie runner Into the Dead 2.
Dead Rain is priced at $1.99. It does not appear to be affiliated with any of the other properties that use the name Dead Rain. Here is an excerpt from the game’s Google Play description and a trailer with more information:
“The world is infected with an unknown virus and plagued by unending rain.
Infected people behave like zombies, and trees are growing from their bodies.
It seems that these trees sprouting from zombies are growing fast as a result of the endless rain. You must find your daughter who got lost during the hurried escape.”
– A story of survivors in a zombified world infected by an unknown virus.
