Crunchyroll Games is releasing a new mobile game based on the popular Is it Wrong To Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (commonly called Dan-Machi) franchise. Is it Wrong To Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Memory Freese is a gacha RPG that will feature many of the characters of DanMachi. After collecting them players will then be able to take make teams and take on the game’s monsters. The game’s abbreviated title, Dan-Memo, should save users a few keystrokes.
The game will feature an original story created with the overseen by the author of the light novels the rest of the franchise is based off of.
Players can pre-register by following the game’s social media accounts and by singing up for its newsletter. The number of users that sign up will determine the rewards that all players will receive when the game launches. The rewards are gacha tickets and a Super Rare Hestia.
DanMachi is a Japanese light novel series that has been adapted into both manga and anime formats. The series centers around adventurer Bell Cranel in the dungeon town of Orario as he interacts with the towns people, other adventurers and journeys into the dungeon. The anime’s second season and a movie have recently been announced, while both the manga and light novel are still in production and are available in English. Those that want to watch the Anime can do so on Crunchyroll.
Crunchyroll is primarily an anime streaming service that provides both an ad supported free service and a premium subscription option. The service’s subscription removes ads and gives users access to a broader range of shows and episodes as soon they are uploaded to the service.
