The sequel to Ludosity’s popular Card City Nights is now available on Android. In short, Card City Nights 2 is a card game with an adventure mode. Both players place their cards on a shared 6 by 3 board, and the goal is to get your opponent’s HP to zero by using your cards’ abilities while blocking your opponent’s use if their abilities. Card City Nights 2 features a single player adventure campaign and an online multiplayer mode for up to 2 players. The game contains 200 cards, some of which feature characters from previous Ludosity games like Ittle Dew and BuniBon. Card City Nights 2 was originally released on Steam in September. The Steam version received a patch the day before the Android version became available, adding crossplay between platforms.
Card City Nights 2 is $4.99 and does not contain any ads or in app purchases. Here is an excerpt from the game’s description and an official trailer with more information:
The Card Game (or TCG for short, the only card game they play in space) is played by two players on a single board. Connect your cards to give them power, and when they’re all fired up they deal damage, heal, shield, or mess with your opponents cards. Since they stay on the board after they’ve been activated, you can keep combos alive indefinitely by stringing new cards into the chain. Playing on the same board gives you opportunity to further mess with you opponents, blocking their moves or stealing their power!
