Gumi is has started a new pre-registration event for the upcoming Brave Frontier: The Last Summoner. The event tasks Brave Frontier fans all over the world to work toward unlocking rewards for the upcoming game by completing tasks like following the game’s social media accounts and pre-registering on Google Play.

Based on the number of points that Brave Frontier fans earn during the event, gamers will receive the following items when The Last Summoner launches:

  • 1 million: 10 5-star Metal Gods that can be used to level up units
  • 2.5 million: 6 2-star weapons
  • 4.5 million: 1 3-star weapon
  • 7 million: 1 3-star unit
  • 10 million: 300 orbs that can be used to summon new units.

Points are earned by pre-registering for the game on Google Play, subscribing to the game’s newsletter, and various social media actions such as liking a Facebook post about the event. In an unusual twist, pre-registration points can also be earned by completing featured dungeons in the original Brave Frontier between September 6th and 20th. At 100 points just for registering on Google Play, the 10 million point milestone doesn’t seam quite as daunting as it might have at first glance.

Brave Frontier: The Last Summoner’s soft launch started in August and is currently open to users in the Philippines, Netherlands, New Zealand, and Sweden (or anyone who wants to download The Last Summoenr using a VPN).

Set a thousand years after the events of Brave Frontier, the game tells the story of Brook, a young crystal harvester that will go on a quest that will delve into the tales of the last summoner. The Last Summoner is a standalone entry in the Brave Frontier universe, offering fans a new take on the game’s world. BFTLS gives gamers a chance to build large armies of collectible characters and take on a variety of monster filled stages. Though it is a turn based gacha game like its predecessors, the game offers an entirely different gameplay style. It also features more modern 2D visuals and a new combat user interface.
