World of Warships Blitz Has Gone Global
World of Warships Blitz has now gone global after its soft launch phase and a brief pre-registration campaign. WOW Blitz is being developed by Wargaming and KingNet and offers mobile gamers a chance to take their wars to the seas. The game features 7 vs 7 battles where players each use one of the game’s 90 warships to take down their enemies. The ships hail from Germany, Japan, the USA, and the USSR and come in 4 classes that have their own gameplay styles.
Combat in World of Warships Blitz takes place in real time, with players being given a lot of control over the action. Players steer their ships, control aiming, and have access to a number of abilities that they can use to do things like patch up damaged guns.
World of Warships began its soft launch campaign in the Philippines in July and has since expanded to include Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the Netherlands, and Sweden.
Players who pre-registered for the game as well as those that participated in its soft launch will have a chance to redeem a free battleship. The free ship will be the Aurora, a Soviet cruiser with limited mobility but a lot of broadside guns. Players will need to register on the game’s website, complete the game’s tutorial, and then open up a link that Wargaming will send out after launch.
World of Warships Blitz is free and contains in app purchases. Here is an excerpt from the game’s description with more information:
