What is Unknown Heroes?

Unknown Heroes is a turn-based RPG with gacha monetization. Players pick their team of heroes, enter a stage, and are thrust into a series of turn-based battles against AI opponents. Heroes what amounts to mana, which can be used to cast spells or use skills, as well as a basic attack. There are quite a few stages to go through, and there’s and story dialogue to read (or skip) through. Beyond that, there are all of the things one might expect from a gacha game, an arena mode, daily dungeons, etc. If you’re looking for something new here, you won’t find it.

Recommendation

Unfortunately, Unknown Heroes is a game that isn’t worth recommending to anyone. Battles come off as dull instead of strategic, and there is nothing compelling about them. If the presentation was spectacular, or the story was interesting, there would be something here. However, that’s just not the case. The story is there, and there is a lot of it, but it’s dull and feels like it’s something you might expect from a game based on a major existing franchise. At the end of the day this is a game with nothing new to offer in a very competitive genre. Skip it.
