Android Users Can Now Slow Things down in Time Recoil
Despite their popularity on PCs and gaming consoles, shooters are not a dominant genre on mobile. That might be changing thanks to the rise of mobile battle-royale games and the upcoming release of Shadowgun Legends. Mobile gamers now have another option to turn to in order to get their shooter fix. Time Recoil is an action packed top down shooter with a time manipulation mechanic that tasks players with taking out the evil Mr. Time. The game also offers a time attack mode that lets players test their skills and climb the game’s leaderboards.
Time Recoil’s main gameplay twist is that killing enemies slows down time. That means that the game rewards players for smoothly going through a level while mowing down enemies with style and speed. Killing also builds up the game’s special ability meter, giving players more tools to deal with their enemies.
Time Recoil was originally released on Steam in August 2017 and was later ported to iOS. The Steam version of the game currently enjoys 96% positive user reviews, though not many users have reviewed the game.
Time Recoil has a special launch price of $5.99, 40% off its regular price. The launch price will last until March 7th, and the game does not contain any ads or in app purchases. Here is an excerpt from the game’s description and a trailer with more information:
