What is Puddi Jump?
Puddi Jump is a charming high-score driven vertical endless platformer. The character you play as is always jumping your role is to control the direction of the jumps by tilting your device in the direction you want to jump in. A strong tilt will send you flying across the screen, a slight tilt will nudge you over in the direction you want to go. As you jump from platform to platform, you have to mindful of the changing background color. If the background changes to blue, blue platforms disappear, if it changes to yellow, yellow platforms disappear, etc. There is an indicator of the upcoming change, giving you a much appreciated warning. As you play you strive towards a high score, you can unlock new skins for your character, adding an incentive beyond just the high score.

As you might expect, Puddi Jump is not the most complex game out there, but what’s there is well executed and fun. The graphics are simple but they’re clean and charming. The controls are accurate enough that players have no one to blame but themselves when they lose, which is great considering tilt controls are often difficult to get right. This, like many other similar games, is unlikely to be a long term go to game, but if you enjoy the graphical style and want a short-burst game to play, this is definitely a game worth having on your phone or tablet.
