Handelabra Games, best known for the digital adaptation of tabletop game Sentinels of the Multiverse, has just launched the mobile version of their latest tabletop game adaptation. One Deck Dungeon tasks players with taking on the game’s dungeons using a deck of cards.
The game features multiple classes to choose from, players can take the role of the mage, warrior, rogue, archer or paladin and take on one of the game’s 5 challenges.
After every adventure players will be able to upgrade their character’s talents, helping them improve their survivability, combat abilities, or other useful skills that will help their dungeon crawling.
Before jumping in, gamers should be aware that the results in One Deck Dungeon can be a bit random. The gameplay is a mixture of decision making and dice rolls, and a lucky or unlucky roll of the dice can make or break your adventure.
Originally released as an Early Access title on Steam in February, the digital adaptation of One Deck Dungeon has undergone several updates leading up to its official launch on PC last week and the Android and iOS versions that have been released today. That includes numerous bug fixes and improvements as well as the release of the game’s first expansion dungeon. The game currently holds 80% positive reviews on Steam.
One Deck Dungeon is $8.99 during its launch week, and will be going back up to its regular price of $9.99 in June. It contain an in app purchase which unlocks an expansion card, and more expansion cards are coming. Here is an excerpt from the game’s description and a trailer with more information:
