Final Fantasy Dimensions II Now Available
Square-Enix has released the latest entry in the Final Fantasy series (or at least the latest entry to be released outside of Japan), Final Fantasy Dimensions II, on Google Play. Dimensions 2 has players build parties of 3 characters and take on the game’s story mode. The story mode will take players throughout time and space, showing them a variety of locals from the Final Fantasy universe.
The original Final Fantasy Dimensions attempted to recreate some of the magic that made people fall in love with old-school Final Fantasy games. Dimensions 2 does not follow in those footsteps. Instead it opts to focus on the game’s story and battles, ignoring things like over-world exploration.
Final Fantasy Dimensions II is $14.99 and does not contain any ads or in app purchases. The Japanese version of the game, Final Fantasy Legends II, was free and contained in app purchases. Here is an excerpt from the game’s Google Play description and a trailer with more information:
