What is Blobout?
Blobout is an endless vertical platformer where you play as a blob that has to escape from a quickly rising pool of acid while dodging various obstacles. It’s a simple one tap game where you tap to jump, and tap again to jump back in order to get around the procedurally generated obstacles. It’s a difficult game and it will likely take you more than a few tries to get the timing of your jumps down to the point where you’re not jumping into obvious obstacles. That same difficulty is what will keep players coming back to this game in search of a new high score.

Blobout is simple but fun. The pixel art style presentation works quite well and the simple one tap controls are responsive enough so that you never feel that you lost due to the controls. The procedurally generated levels will keep you guessing as to what’s next, and the difficulty will keep you from getting bored right away. It likely won’t be a game you’ll be playing for months or even weeks, but if you’re looking for a quick hard one tap game, Blobout is worth a try.
